Clipio is designed to respect your privacy by keeping everything on your machine. We do not collect, store, or transmit your clipboard data to any external servers.

• All clipboard history (text and images) is stored locally on your device.
• Data is saved in a secure application folder (Local App Data).
• You can clear your history or delete specific entries at any time within the app.

2. Information Collection

The app monitors your system clipboard and a user-defined screenshot folder only when the app is running. This is necessary to provide the core functionality of the clipboard manager.

• Clipboard Data: Only captured locally to provide history.
• Screenshots: If enabled, the app monitors your chosen folder to add new screenshots to your local history.

3. Third-Party Services

Clipio does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not use cookies or any automated tracking mechanisms.

4. Permissions

To function correctly on macOS, the App may request the following permissions:

• Accessibility: Required to provide the seamless popover interface and clipboard monitoring.
• File System: Required to read and write your local history file and monitor your screenshot folder.
